Lacunae is an ecological backtrip which alludes to the erasure of a botanical journey to Namaqualand, its ecology and endangered flora. It addresses the wider dynamics of nature and human relationships in the Anthropocene, while highlighting plants as a growing focus of critical inquiry and artistic practice.
